Eva Langerak, curator at the Grote Kerk Breda, searches for a dialogue between historical material and contemporary themes. Does an object, such as a photograph, only derive value from actuality, from contemporary social issues? Or is there more to it? Can a photograph undergo a shift in meaning, and live a long life for a constantly changing audience?
