Maurice van Es

Maurice van Es is a visual artist working with photography. His work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, London, Milan, Amsterdam and Arles. He recently won the Düsseldorf Photo Portfolio Review and the audience award of the ING New Photography Talent award. Van Es is a chronicler of everyday life and a lover of historical photography. His ongoing project Rooms of Now consists (at the moment) of 49 unique photo books in which Van Es recorded the traces of individual lives, like family albums made by an outsider. During Dialogue Maurice van Es will give an artist talk on this project.
